Elbasy receives Bauyrzhan Baibek, First Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan Party


During the meeting, the First President of Kazakhstan was informed about the current activity of Birgemiz Fund and the preparations for the internal party selection – primary election.

So, according to the given information, more than 360 thousand families received one-time payment of KZT50 thousand from the Birgemiz Fund resources, and food baskets were delivered to 240 thousand families. Among other things, a lump sum payment was given to more than 2100 employees of healthcare organizations of the capital city and the city of Almaty.

Birgemiz Fund allocated KZT340 million for constructing houses for residents of Dostyk aul of Maktaaral district. In addition, the Party activists and volunteers collected and sent over one thousand tons of humanitarian aid to residents of the affected settlements.

Noting the importance of the work being conducted, Elbasy instructed to spread support to the needy residents of little towns and villages of the country through the Fund.

- In the time of the national emergency, Jas Otan mobilized more than five thousand volunteers all across the country. They worked through the holidays, delivered targeted assistance to those in need. I am glad that a new generation of true patriots, responsible young leaders, has grown up. I signed letters of thanks to the most active of them, said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The First President of Kazakhstan instructed to continue work to strengthen public confidence in the Party.

- Nur Otan is the Party of positive practice. I see that the number of appeals to counselling offices has increased seven times, and the number of resolved issues is growing. This indicates confidence in Nur Otan. This work needs to be strengthened, said Elbasy.

During the meeting, Bauyrzhan Baibek reported to Elbasy about the results of working trips to the regions of the country, the progress in implementing the Party’s election program and preparations for the primaries.

- At present, there is a candidate pool of 10 thousand party members. Primary election rules have been approved taking into account quotas for women and the youth. In-party selection is scheduled for the second half of this year, said the First Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan Party.
