“Over the past 18 months, the party went through a thorough and systematic restructuring. I consider the transfer of full responsibilities for party governance to President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev as final stage in this process. The one nominated and supported by his party in presidential elections should to lead
the party. Currently, under the leadership of President Tokayev, a package of major social, economic, and political reforms
are being put into effect in the country. With all its necessary resource, the Nur Otan Party has to become a credible facility for the implementation of these activities,” Elbasy noted.

The First President stated that only an increased public support could promise significant gains from the extensive reforms aimed to strengthen Kazakhstan’s Independence.

“I have always said that it is through the unity of the nation, peace, stability, and harmony in the country great goals are achieved. This has been amply demonstrated over the thirty years of our independence. As we have embarked on our fourth decade of independence we are entering the period of global transformations, tough and responsible decisions.

“I am confident that Kazakhstan will deal successfully with the challenges of the new time. Clear objectives, political will and, most important, support of the people, are essential to secure the success of the country”, Nursultan Nazarbayev concluded.
